With Delhi University announcing its cut off lists and watching students struggling in this heat and dust, trying all permutations and combinations to get themselves enrolled, reminded me of my college days.

That everyday hustle- bustle! No! not to reach lecture in time but what to wear!! Haha!
I remember before I explored my college campus i was exploring the high end fashion streets of delhi -sarojini, lajpat, janpath. This is when I realized how vast is the world of fashion and that I was actually interested in learning about it!

DU campus, unlike any other has, over the years, bestowed us with great minds and have created identities that have marked a history in the field of fashion.
I am too an upshot of DU college, a gargi college alumni which if you are a student of,you automatically tend to follow a trendy breed no matter how off you are with styling.

So while you are out there muddling over which course or college to apply for, I am gonna help you do Away with one your problems, what to wear! I am gonna do a series of colleges outfits, a six day line up from monday to Saturday!(And on sundays we chill in pyjamas)

Day 1- Monday!

I am a bigggg denim lover!! I feel its the most versatile and yet most easy to style garment! A fashion that never go out of style.
I have owned this denim short dress for ages now and never worn it. I don’t know why!! It is so cute with these golden embellished tweeties on it and I adore this now.

So first in college couture is this denim dress, you obviously want something cool and comfy to beat this heat and this is every inch of that!
All I did was wore it with my golden oxford shoes and some nice golden long earrings. Tada! A perfect ensemble to overcomes those Monday blues!

But wait, there’s more, its a nice dress but you might wanna cover yourself up a bit when you step out in sun. For that I teamed it up with this white crisp shirt. And who doesn’t like the combination of white and denim right?! For this look I switched to my high top shoes and white shell earrings.

To add a bit more quirkiness my mom did my hairdo in one of those as I call it “khalessi” styles from game of thrones!
Fun fact: the cab driver thought i was going for a fancy dress competition! Haha!

So you are sorted for your first day at college, just team any of your denim dress with a white cotton shirt and high top shoes, and you good to go!
Its fresh, chic and hassle free.

Do try this and let me know how did it work for you. I will be putting up the next look soon!

Until then,

Keep it stylish!✌🏻
